Unscramblers allow an operator to dump bulk containers or caps into a hopper to be sorted and orientated into an upright and single file line before reaching the packaging line conveyor. Galick Process and Packaging Solutions offer a wide variety of Bottle Unscramblers including Horizontal, Vertical, Linear and Compact confirgurations.
Primary suppliers include, but are not limited to: Aesus, Acasi, New England and Omega.
Linear Bottle Unscramblers are capable of unscrambling square, round or oval containers. Most linear unscramblers sort and orient bottles using a 'hook' system, which inverts containers coming in neck first. They are most commonly used due to their low profile design and ease of changeover.
Linear unscramblers are also available with an ionized air rinse option.
Vertical Bottle Unscramblers are a belt-free, compact and efficient method for unscrambling smaller size containers. They sort and orient using a vertical feed shoot which delivers the bottles to a star wheel or pucking system in a vertical, base down configuration. These bottle unscramblers are best suited for applications requiring a small footprint. This design can also be used for pucking.
An Unscrambler/Orienter Monoblock saves floor space by consolidating an unscrambler and orienter into one. These are used to orient upright bottles ensuring they are fed onto the packaging line in the same configuration (ie: handle to the left).
Orienters can also be purchased separaely.
